Launch of the new website of the Stephen Hui Geological Museum!

Dear friends of the SHGM,

Please be informed that the new website of our museum has been launched and is accessible at: https://shmuseum.hku.hk/

The new website will provide you with a much more interactive and informative platform and a more enriched museum experience than before. Here’s a few new features we invite you to explore:
• A 360° Virtual Tour [New!]
• An online booking system for guided tours [New!]
• A museum layout map [New!]
• Announcements of new exhibitions/education activities and easy searching for previous events [New!]
• More high-resolution pictures for our mineral, rock, and fossil collections
Since the Stephen Hui Geological Museum opened its door in January 2009, it has been the first and only geological museum in Hong Kong and contributed greatly to science education in our region, under the generous support of the Hui family to whom we are wholeheartedly thankful.

So far we have welcome more than 600,000 visitors from all over the world and offered >1500 guided tours. We sincerely thank you for being part of our journey and look forward to seeing more of our old and new friends at the SHGM in the near future.

新網站旨在豐富參觀者的博物館體驗，提供一個增強且互動的平台同時幫助參觀人士探索我們的館藏，延伸參觀者與博物館之間的線上與線下互動。

許士芬地質博物館是香港首間、亦是唯一一間地質博物館。自2009年1月開館以來，持續受到許氏家族的慷慨支持與幫助，為此我們深表感謝。在過去十六年中，博物館已接待超過60萬人次訪問、超過1500場導覽，為此我們也衷心感謝各位的支持與喜愛。

我們期待並歡迎更多新、老朋友來訪與參觀許士芬地質博物館，共同支持科學與教育發展。
