Huangshan: when the clouds become part of the landscape

There are places that seem to exist out of time. The Huangshan Mountains in eastern China are one of them. Granite peaks, bizarre rocks, pines with winding branches and clouds covering mountain peaks create landscapes worthy of paintings by artists.

It is no coincidence that Huangshan is called the Yellow Mountains. Here, nature has been creating its own masterpiece for millions of years, and the fog and the play of light turn it into a constantly changing picture.

🌋 A place where the Earth literally breathes

Imagine: you are flying over a huge volcanic caldera, surrounded by fog, steam, colourful lakes and hot springs, and the life of an ancient volcano continues under the surface.

Welcome to Uzon, one of the most unusual places in Kamchatka.

Now you can go there without packing your bags. We have prepared a new 360° journey through the caldera of the Uzon volcano - look around, choose the direction of view and immerse yourself in the landscape as if you were there yourself.

A few facts that make Uzon particularly impressive:

• Caldera was formed about 40 thousand years ago after powerful eruptions. Its diameter is about 10 kilometres, and the area reaches about 150 km².

• Uzon is called the natural laboratory of modern volcanism: there are hundreds of hydrothermal manifestations, boiling springs, mud boilers and steam outlets.

• There is a Bannoye lake in the caldera, which does not freeze even in winter - the water temperature can reach +40 °C.

• One of the most spectacular objects is the mud caldron «Sculptor», which literally «sculpts» unusual shapes from hot mud.

• And it was also here that the shots of the Soviet film «Sannikov Land» were shot.

🌊 Have you ever been to Niagara Falls?

Our AirPano website has published a new publication with a 360° panoramic video about Niagara, one of the most impressive natural places in North America.

Niagara Falls is located on the border of the United States and Canada and consists of three waterfalls. The largest of them - Horseshoe - got its name due to its characteristic curved shape. Here, huge streams of water with a rumble fall down, water dust rises around, and in sunny weather you can see rainbows above the waterfall.

And most importantly, now Niagara can be viewed almost «from the inside» thanks to 360° shooting. You can choose where to look, see the waterfall and the surrounding landscape and just move for a few minutes to one of the most famous natural wonders of the world.

The Gobi Desert is a place where the grandeurof nature reveals itself in the flawless lines of the sand dunes and the endless horizon.

In AirPano’s new 360° video, we invite you to explore the surroundings of Dunhuang — where the sands of Mingshashan are known asthe “singing sands,” and the emerald Crescent Moon Oasis lies hidden among the dunes.
Once, caravans of the Great Silk Road passed through these lands, and today the landscapelooks as though time itself has decided to pause.

Take in the Gobi from above and experience thevastness of a place where the wind reshapes the patterns of the desert day after day.
Perhaps journeys like these remind us that the most breathtaking views do not always require a suitcase — sometimes all it takesis opening a 360° experience.
