Kiang Malingue is pleased to present at its New York space, Once More Encore: The First Year of Benny's Video Remixed, an exhibition by Benny's Video, a curatorial project of artist Craig Jun Li, on view from June 25 to August 7, 2026.

Dubbed as a “nomadic curatorial project for freaks and lovers,” from May 2025 to April 2026, Benny’s Video was sited at a 130-square foot artist studio sublet in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and presented nine exhibitions. The scale of the location led to exhibitions consisting of two to seven artists. In parallel to connective interests across its program, several artists presented works in multiple exhibitions, creating a chainlink effect.

Last few days to view Trương Công Tùng’s solo exhibition at Kiang Malingue New York, 𝘞𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘧𝘭𝘺… [𝘛𝘩ứ𝘤 𝘥ậ𝘺, 𝘱𝘩ù 𝘥𝘶…].

Spanning the entire length of a gallery wall, 𝘈 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩… 𝘈 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮… (2021-ongoing) comprises 120 paintings of lacquer, chalk, and pigment on mylar. This constellation approximates the form of a memory, an almanac or a diary, that connects the human and tangible world with interspecies and invisible realms. In this cosmological timestream, human anatomy, scenes of collectivity and war, flow alongside flora, insects, animals, and planets. “All of them appear to emerge out of nowhere and try to go somewhere,” transcending human time, towards the geologic and planetary, as well as the circadian rhythm and the slow-motion sense of time experienced by insects.

Swing by 50 Eldridge Street to view the exhibition before it leaves the space on June 13.

Please join artist Tseng Chien-Ying for an Open Studio at 99 Canal 99canal.nyc , New York (99 Canal St, 6/F) on Saturday, June 20, 3-6pm, as part of his three-month residency.

Tseng Chien-Ying’s practice draws fluidly from contemporary body politics, Taiwanese and transcultural pop cultural iconography and literary classics, activating synesthesia through organic and vibrant shifts of colors, lines, and contours. He reinvents East Asian painting traditions, using ink, gouache, and mineral pigments, towards a cosmology of flesh that transmutes a raw sensuality. With tenderness and wit, he chronicles bodies undergoing constant care and optimization, on the brink of transformation through modification and fe**sh, and the ritualized and mediated acts of vision.

During his New York residency, Tseng presented his U.S. debut at the Independent Art Fair in May. Andrew Russeth writes on Artnet that Tseng’s “alluring, radiant ink and gouache paintings on paper depict hands that recall the mudras of classic Buddhist art. All rich pinks, oranges, and yellows, these body parts become mythic symbols of connection.”

Tseng Chien-Ying is an artist based in Taipei. His works are in the collections of Space K, Seoul, Korea; White Rabbit Gallery, Sydney, Australia; Taipei Fine Art Museum, Taipei, Taiwan; Chishang Barn Art Museum, Taitung, Taiwan; National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taichung, Taiwan; National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan.

We are happy to share Wang Wei at 𝘚𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘦/𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸, presented by the Institut pour la photographie at the Frac Grand Large.

Co-produced by the Institut pour la photographie and the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art (Beijing), where it was shown in 2023, Slide/Show. Projections and Contemporary Art in China is coming to the Frac Grand Large (Dunkirk) for its European premiere. Bringing together leading figures in contemporary Chinese art, the exhibition highlights the fundamental role of the slide in the development of contemporary art in China, from the Cultural Revolution to the 2010s.

In this context, the slide—a medium that is both portable and easily reproducible—emerged as a central element within a rapidly expanding artistic landscape. Initially a vehicle for transmission and exchange, it also established itself as a strategic tool for structuring the discourse of the artistic avant-garde. The projected image thus becomes the prism through which a new history of the early days of experimental art in China takes shape.

Plan your visit now through August 30, 2026.

We are pleased to share Brook Hsu’s participation at the Boros Collection, on view now in Berlin at the Boros Collection, 𝘉𝘜𝘕𝘒𝘌𝘙 𝘉𝘌𝘙𝘓𝘐𝘕 #5.

In a present where external order is increasingly felt to be unstable, our emphasis is shifting toward inner states. Withdrawal, interiority and psychological intensification are becoming defining tendencies in contemporary art. The fifth presentation of the Boros Collection begins precisely where external realities start to fracture.

The presentation is accessible to the public through 90-minute guided tours, led by the Boros Foundation’s mediation team. Tickets can be booked online and are released monthly on the Boros Collection website. Visit our link in bio to plan your visit.

Now at Kiang Malingue Hong Kong, Zheng Zhou’s solo exhibition 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴.

Having previously studied at the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou (now the China Academy of Art), Zheng Zhou had Liang Quan as a teacher during his time at the academy. In the winter of 2025, Liang Quan authored an essay analysing the aspirations and evolution of Zheng Zhou’s artistic practice:

“From 1990 to 1994, Zheng Zhou and I crossed paths in the Printmaking Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. I was a teacher; he was a student. In retrospect, it seems that that group of students back then knew exactly what they wanted and pursued it with relentless determination. As their teacher, however, I was numb and lacking in empathy, simply following the Ministry of Culture’s prescribed curriculum guidelines into the classroom day after day… Reflecting on the past, I feel a sense of regret—it’s unfortunate that we can’t experience life twice.

A few days ago, Zheng Zhou told me that I had given high marks to two students in the class back then, and he was one of them. Nearly thirty years have passed, and I no longer recall the specifics of that classroom assignment. Yet his grip on the assignments, technical proficiency, and artistic sensibility left a profound impression on me. After graduation, he resolutely abandoned academia to enter the art world. For years, he has worked tirelessly in Beijing and Hangzhou, quietly perfecting his studio in a hermetic fashion. His efforts have borne remarkable fruit. I find his recent shift toward abstract expression truly invigorating.”

Plan your visit from now till June 17, at 10 S*k On Street.
