An exhibition of photography and narrative exploring love, loss, and the many shapes of grief. Presented in five thematic chapters: 𝗊𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗌𝘀𝘀, 𝗟𝗌𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗊𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗌𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗌𝗻, 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗌𝗺𝗜𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗌𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗜, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗌𝘀𝘀𝗌𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗎 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻. What does it mean to reveal the "unfolding self"? ✹

Join us at Wyndham Social this May for 𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 & 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞, a joint exhibition by sculptor Alex See and figurative artist Simon Shingleton.

Through a dialogue of heavy bronze and fluid pen strokes, the artists explore the raw, unvarnished truth of the human spirit. For Alex, sculpture is a meditative dance of vulnerability; for Simon, drawing is a therapeutic release driven by the pulse of music. Together, they navigate a passage from monochromatic traditions into a world of subtle, organic color.

Come and sit with the weight of form and the traces of emotion.

䜕謂「自我展開」的真寊面貌

Wyndham Social 將斌 5 月呈獻雙人聯展 「 𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 & 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞」展出雕塑家 Alex See 與具象藝術家 Simon Shingleton 的感性創䜜。

圚厚重的青銅雕塑與流動的針筆線條之間兩䜍藝術家進行了䞀堎關斌「重」與「跡」的對話。對 Alex 而蚀雕塑是關斌脆匱與內圚真寊的冥想之舞而對 Simon 䟆說繪畫是䌎隚音暂節奏、釋攟情感的療癒過皋。他們共同打砎單色的束瞛圚有機的色圩與圢匏䞭捕捉人類靈魂最玔粹、䞍加修食的真寊。

誠邀䜠前䟆圚靜謐的空間䞭感受圢匏的重量與情感的痕跡。

The project showcase 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐊 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: 𝐇𝐚𝐰 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐠, jointly presented by Wyndham Social and the Graphic Archive of the Hong Kong Design Institute, successfully concluded on 26 April 2026.

On 25 April, the second symposium of The Design Trust Graphic Archive Research Fellowship was hosted at Wyndham Social. Hong Kong visual culture researcher Walter Chan presented his research on Hong Kong public transport design, Dutch design researcher Dr. Wibo Bakker shared the design history of Dutch Railway and local curator and designer Loraine Wong put forward her studies on the design of paper bags and wrapping papers. All of the presented research demonstrates how design details quietly drive everyday life by enhancing efficiency, integrating aesthetics, recording history, and shaping collective memory and cultural identity.🚍🚄🛍

A public guided tour and workshop were hosted, the next day by Walter Chan, where participants reconstructed their daily commuting routes from memory, discovering how small design details shape everyday travel experiences.🗺🚊

As a bridge connecting arts and cultural education with the community, Wyndham Social will continue to explore and showcase the artistic and cultural research outcomes, enabling the public to engage more deeply with Hong Kong’s collective memory. Through exhibition, it aspires to heighten public awareness of design, encouraging observation of how design balances utility and beauty, and how it shapes Hong Kong’s distinctive design identity ✹

Presented by Wyndham Social and Graphic Archive, Hong Kong Design Institute, 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐊 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: 𝐇𝐚𝐰 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐠 revisits the design history of Hong Kong’s public transport from the 1940s to the 1980s. Built on the research of arts, heritage and visual culture researcher Walter Chan, it explores the relationship between graphic design and user behaviour, showing how everyday commuting became a form of urban aesthetics🚋

As a bridge between education and community, Wyndham Social brings professional design projects out of the campus and into Hong Kong’s cultural and commercial hub. By reconnecting collective history with contemporary life, the exhibition invites the public to reflect on how design shapes our daily experiences✹

Hailing from the Netherlands, street artist FLEKS merges visions of the future with the vibrancy of the cities he paints. Blending architecture and infrastructure into a cyber‑punk tapestry, he explores the world to come for graffiti—where time and space coalesce—to reflect on life and what lies beyond.

荷蘭籍街頭藝術家 擅斌把對未䟆的想像結合所圚地的郜垂節奏糅合城垂基建構築成䞀幅幅敞碌韐克颚栌䜜品探玢塗鎉藝術劂䜕以空間與時間的流動反掚探蚎人類的珟圚。

「這扇門胜通埀我想像䞭的城垂。對我而蚀銙枯本身就是䞀座未䟆䞻矩倧郜會的雛圢。我甚鮮豔色圩描繪迷幻的倩際線構築䞀座既具未䟆感又充滿色圩、塗鎉、倪空船與街頭藝術的城垂䞊以拱圢門將䜜品融入呚遭環境。」

Last week, joined forces with Dutch artist and to host the Sculpture001 Opening Party. Centered on the themes of breath and digital interaction, the work offered a striking new visual experience. The After Party at Cassio carried the energy late into the night, where music and art intertwined 🎈🪩

This special project was designed to echo Hong Kong Arts Month, blending international creativity with local lifestyle. Partnering with the brands at 33 Wyndham Street, exclusive privileges were offered, infusing Central with a one-of-a-kind art driven nightlife 🎊
