Crafted without molds using his signature Sakumon diamond-polishing technique, Yutaro Kijima’s pouring jugs and sake cups capture light like soft, frozen waves. Each piece brings a quiet elegance and a touch of ritual to everyday living.

Capturing light, form, and quiet space. ✨ We are thrilled to welcome Japanese glass artist Yutaro Kijima 貴島雄太朗　Yutaro KIJIMA for his solo exhibition at Waka Artisans!

Known for his meticulous hand-blowing and signature Sakumon technique—forsaking molds in favour of diamond polishers to achieve a mesmerizing frosted, light-capturing texture—Kijima’s works hold and reflect light in the most breathtaking way.
