點火 展示一場重複進行的點火行為。抹殺打火機的日常功能，藝術家將其化為與肉體對抗的物件。恆定且結構性的行為使某些日常壓抑一同消耗；在毫無結果的抗衡之際，卻殘酷地留下實在的生理應激。

Ignition showcases a repetitive action of ignition. Erasing its everyday utility, the artist transforms it into an object of bodily confrontation. The constant and structural action consumes certain daily suppressions alongside the fuel, and cruelly leaves behind a tangible physiological reaction amidst a fruitless resistance.

All here exist in a state of ”just right.“ Accumulated stings and defences, the tension beneath the gentleness, reluctantly yet just rightly sustaining the boundaries of myself.

嘉賓介紹 Guest introduction:
🍴寧琛頤於2022年畢業於香港城市大學，獲新媒體文理學士學位，後於香港中文大學獲頒藝術文學碩士。寧氏主要以攝影、動態影像和新媒體為創作媒介，進行自我觀察、社會反思和探索流行文化。近期作品多以圖片和錄像為中心，試圖追溯並重建一些被遺忘的個人歷史、記憶和情感；並專注圖像、畫面與身份之間的關係，思考三者在數碼時代的意義。

寧氏於2025年獲得奧沙藝術獎；作品曾展出於香港藝術中心包氏畫廊、香港城市大學及海外。

🥄謝曉琳，以不同媒介創作，其中以互動裝置、影像及環境藝術為主。憑藉自身的經驗和所熟悉的環境，專注於社區藝術及香港藝術發展，早期創作以《嘥氣》反思藝術與政治衝突的影響，尋找事實與現實之間的差異境況，面對現實的困境，《有少少痕”遮”》是旁觀他人的體驗，是對基層和勞動的生活狀況，探索人與社會之間特殊的存在關係。作品以幽默的方式審視現今社會文化現象，藉此引起公眾的關注和反思現今的狀況。近年重新思考「我」、「情緒」和「家庭」之關係，反思藝術如何作為一種認知的體驗。

About the artist:

LING Sum-yi (b.1997) graduated with a Master of Arts in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, following a Bachelor’s degree from the City University of Hong Kong in 2022, majoring in New Media Art. Ling mainly uses photography, moving images and new media as mediums, observing herself, society and popular culture. Her recent artwork centres on image and video, tracing and refigurating personal histories, memories, and emotions, and also focuses on the relationship between images, identity and society in the digital era.

Ling received the Osage Art Award in 2025; her work was exhibited at the Pao Galleries, Hong Kong Arts Centre, the City University of Hong Kong and overseas.

《燼餘》呈現藝術家寧琛頤在個體和家庭關係間的情感應激為核心。不再流於表面重構溫馨的家庭記憶，是次展覽轉向親密關係中某些被壓抑的狀態。藝術家試圖將無法言說的感受，藉由當代媒介出發，具象地轉移為實質的生理知覺與物質張力。

外在嚴密齊整、內裡實則晃動抽搐的調度，不僅是對自身、情感與個體關係轉化的思辨，亦是藝術家嘗試在現代交流中，以最純粹的感受催化，使用視覺語言重新建構感受的邊界，延續情感的對抗。

“Remains” features several new works by artist Ling Sum-yi, centering on the psychological perception and emotional contingency within the individual and family. Departing from reconstructing superficial familial memories, the exhibition pivots toward certain repressed states within intimate relationships. By utilising various medium, the artist attempts to transfer unutterable emotions into visceral physical sensations and material tension.

The spatial orchestration—seemingly rigorous and orderly, yet trembling and convulsive within—is not merely a reflection between self, emotion, and individual relationships, but also the attempt to catalyse the purest feelings and use visual language to reconstruct the boundaries of perception and sustain the confrontation of emotions.
