As AI begins to tackle increasingly sophisticated mathematical problems, what role will humans play in shaping the future of mathematics discoveries?

This Tuesday, we were honored to host colleagues from Asia Society Texas Center at Asia Society Hong Kong Center. Over our staff lunch, we exchanged insights and strengthened connections within our global network.

Our collaboration with Asia Society Texas is exemplified by 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙣: 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙𝙨, an exhibition co-organized by both centers. The exhibition highlights 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐧, a pioneer of modern ink painting who fused lyrical brushwork, abstract forms, and bold color with the expressive energy of Western abstraction. Despite her contributions to global modernism, her legacy is only now receiving the curatorial attention it deserves.

Guided by our mission to navigate shared futures for Asia and the world, we remain committed to working together across business and policy, arts and culture, and education.

Presented by Hong Kong artist Pongyu Wai 韋邦雨 and the ASHK Curatorial Team, the event turns visual and textual records into a collective sensory experience: a rave that reanimates artistic memory not through paper, but through moving bodies.

𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘽𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙠: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝙏𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙤𝙣 has officially concluded, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us on this journey.

This past weekend, we marked the closing of the exhibition with two very special programs.

On Saturday, we came together for 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙮, presented in partnership with Mind HK. Through a guided tour of Wesley’s meditative world, a restorative Gong Bath led by , and a somatic movement session with Bhakti Tanya Wong | Way of Being , we explored how art, sound, and the body can cultivate quiet, presence, and connection.

On Sunday, Christina Petrowska Quilico performed the Hong Kong debut of 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐞𝐞 𝐇𝐨’s 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙, translating the visual forms and emotions of Quilico’s paintings and Wesley’s dynamic ink compositions into a musical journey through landscapes that exist only in the artists’ minds.

Thank you to 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐢 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨, and everyone who made these programs possible. And thank you to each of you who visited, reflected, and connected with Wesley’s work.

The United Kingdom has just sworn in its seventh leader since 2016, in a period marked by economic turbulence, deep political polarization, and repeated party crises. This level of turnover is unprecedented in modern British history, a pace of change with “no parallel since the 1820s.”

Join Professor Roger Awan-Scully , a leading scholar of devolution and electoral politics, in conversation with 𝐀𝐫𝐣𝐮𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐦, Asia financial correspondent at the Financial Times. Together, they will examine how UK-wide “British” politics has fragmented into four distinct national party systems, in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and why that makes stable, UK-wide leadership increasingly hard to sustain.

They will also explore whether the relative stability of the post-war era up to Brexit was in fact an abnormal interlude, and what this means for the coherence of British democracy and the long-term viability of the Union.
