展覽簡介
「獨語」，指自言自語，代表一個人內心情感的抒發，未必被人知曉。本次展覽主要展出Stephanie Leung的畢業作品及大學時的創作，聚焦香港的存在性孤獨——人與人之間那道無法跨越的透明鴻溝與集體喧囂中的無聲獨白，反思：當我們身處人群，為何仍感到孤獨？
Stephanie現正就讀香港教育大學文化與創意藝術學系（視覺藝術），她從小熱愛繪畫，但僅限為休閑時的興趣。上大學後認識了各種藝術媒介，對於藝術領域，仍在探索和學習中。對她而言，創作是一場聆聽内心、學習與自身的對話，從而思考我們因什麼而存在。
Voices in Silence speaks to the heart in solitude, an unspoken yet deeply felt place. This exhibition presents Stephanie Leung’s graduation project alongside works from her university studies, exploring existential loneliness in Hong Kong: the invisible distance between bodies in a crowd and the silent monologues we carry beneath the noise, and asks: Why do we still feel alone even when surrounded by others? Stephanie is currently a student in the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts (Visual Arts) at The Education University of Hong Kong. She grew up drawing for leisure, but university opened her eyes to new art mediums, and she’s still experimenting with them. For her, making art is a way of listening to voices in her mind and reflecting on what makes us feel alive in a world full of people.
