Upcoming exhibition:

Welcome to Elva Lai’s fifth solo exhibition, an intimate journey into the creative mind.Centred around her artist’s book, The Creative Notes: on vulnerability, process, and resilience, this exhibition turns inward. It features simple text and photography exploring the doubts, challenges and quiet victories of the artistic process.Ultimately a letter of gratitude to community and solidarity, this space offers warmth, connection, and mutual support to fellow creators and curious visitors alike.

歡迎蒞臨賴明珠(Elva Lai)的第五場個展，這是一場深入探索創作心靈的旅程。本展覽以她 的藝術家手冊《創作筆記:關於脆弱、過程與韌性》為核心，引領觀者向內探索。展品透過簡潔 的文字與攝影作品，探討藝術創作過程中所面臨的疑慮、挑戰與默默的勝利。這個空間也是一 封致社群與團結的感謝信，無論是同為創作者的夥伴，還是懷抱好奇心的觀眾，都能在此感受 到人與人之間的溫暖、連結與相互支持。

「獨語」，指自言自語，代表一個人內心情感的抒發，未必被人知曉。本次展覽主要展出Stephanie Leung的畢業作品及大學時的創作，聚焦香港的存在性孤獨——人與人之間那道無法跨越的透明鴻溝與集體喧囂中的無聲獨白，反思：當我們身處人群，為何仍感到孤獨？
Stephanie現正就讀香港教育大學文化與創意藝術學系（視覺藝術），她從小熱愛繪畫，但僅限為休閑時的興趣。上大學後認識了各種藝術媒介，對於藝術領域，仍在探索和學習中。對她而言，創作是一場聆聽内心、學習與自身的對話，從而思考我們因什麼而存在。

Voices in Silence speaks to the heart in solitude, an unspoken yet deeply felt place. This exhibition presents Stephanie Leung’s graduation project alongside works from her university studies, exploring existential loneliness in Hong Kong: the invisible distance between bodies in a crowd and the silent monologues we carry beneath the noise, and asks: Why do we still feel alone even when surrounded by others? Stephanie is currently a student in the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts (Visual Arts) at The Education University of Hong Kong. She grew up drawing for leisure, but university opened her eyes to new art mediums, and she’s still experimenting with them. For her, making art is a way of listening to voices in her mind and reflecting on what makes us feel alive in a world full of people.
