In the place where housed the old “COSTAL” industry, ENIA GALLERY was created, as a reference point for contemporary art and culture, which purpose is to play a leading role in the visual scene of Greece.

Enia Gallery is proud to announce the participation of gallery artist Guillaume Krick in the first Cycladic Biennale, What Re-mains, taking place on the island of Naxos from 20 August to 18 September 2026. The opening will be held on 20 August 2026.

Approaching Naxos as a place where memory is continuously constructed, negotiated and reinterpreted, What Re-mains brings together artistic practices that engage with traces, absences and both material and immaterial remains.

With The Sea’s Hold, Krick enters a new phase in his sculptural practice. The introduction of bronze—a new medium in his work—expands his longstanding exploration of assemblage, collection and material accumulation, while memory, technology and archaeological time remain central.

A found buoy and its bronze marine fittings, both bearing the marks of use, are displaced into the exhibition space, creating a sense of estrangement. The work opens onto a narrative that resonates particularly with the maritime history of the island.

The Sea’s Hold, 2025
Found buoy, bronze
180 × 45 × 65 cm

The work was produced with the support of the Région Hauts-de-France.
