🎑🇫🇷Commémoration officielle
178e anniversaire de l’abolition de l’esclavage à Saint-Martin

✴️Le public est chaleureusement invité à participer à la cérémonie officielle de commémoration qui se tiendra le jeudi 28 mai de 14h00 à 17H00 à la Old House, à Quartier d'Orléans.

Cette cérémonie sur le thème “Years after Emancipation, the making of a country”, rendra hommage à la mémoire des ancêtres, à leur combat pour la liberté et à l’héritage culturel transmis aux générations d’aujourd’hui.

Le public pourra assister à une série de prestations artistiques et culturelles :

🏳️Poèmes par Jocelyne Arnell et Saby Soualouiga
🏳️Chorégraphies par la Compagnie O&CO
🏳️Chants par l’École de musique Charlotte Brookson, Vocal Lab, Natisha Hanson et l’École de musique Pianissimo
🏳️Danses traditionnelles par les élèves du Collège Roche Gravée de Moho et la troupe Grain d'Or

🚗Le stationnement se fera sur le parking de l’ancien Boo Boo Jam. Merci de suivre la signalétique vers le parking du Beach Volley.

🎑🇫🇷178th Anniversary of the Abolition of Slavery in Saint-Martin

✴️The public is warmly invited to attend the official commemoration ceremony on Thursday, May 28 at 2:00 PM at the Old House in French Quarter.

This ceremony will honor the memory of the ancestors, their fight for freedom, and the cultural heritage passed on to future generations.

🔹Official commemoration and speeches at 2:00 PM
🔹Cultural Program : From 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM

The public will enjoy a series of artistic and cultural performances including:

🏳️Poetry readings by Jocelyne Arnell and Saby Soualouiga
🏳️Choreographies by the Compagnie O&CO
🏳️Musical performances by the École de musique Charlotte Brookson, Vocal Lab, Natisha Hanson and the École de musique Pianissimo
🏳️Traditional dances performed by students from the Collège Roche Gravée de Moho and the cultural group Grain d'Or

🚗Parking will be available at the former Boo Boo Jam parking area. Visitors are asked to follow the signs toward the Beach Volley parking area
🚌Take the free shuttle service to the commemoration site.

Amuseum Volunteer Day: May 16th!

Volunteer day is back! Come by Amuseum Naturalis at The Old House on Saturday, May 16th between 9am and noon. We will be working together to get the place looking its best! Help with cleaning, gardening, organizing, fixing and building. We will also have lunch together after! If you can, RSVP by email ([email protected]) or on Facebook so we know how many to expect!

Endemic Animal Festival 2026

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Endemic Animal Festival on April 25th! We had a lot of fun sifting for snails, painting magnets and looking at insects in the night!
