Clare’s 11th annual solo show will feature an astonishing new collection of original paintings, revealing the wild, changeable northern landscape as only she can.

With surprises along the way and the exclusive release of Clare’s second ever signed, limited edition print, the show is not one to miss!

The show will open on the first floor of the gallery and be available to view seven days a week from 10am-5pm, though an early visit is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Your Monday is about to get brighter, courtesy of Yorkshire artist Clare Haley. ✨

We are delighted to give you a sneak peek of three of the paintings from her upcoming solo exhibition, ‘Clare Haley: Light of Yorkshire’, which opens NEXT FRIDAY, 31 July. 🙌🏽 Step into the beckoning wilds of ‘Holding the Light’, ‘Way of the North’ and ‘Drift Away’.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. We are also happy to announce that Clare will be releasing ‘Way of the North’ as a signed limited edition print for this year’s show. Now available for pre-order, Clare’s second ever published print is priced at £145 and limited to just 50 prints.

🌿 Want to see more? DM us to register for the full preview catalogue and first pick of the collection. We are lucky enough to house a collection by the late British figurative artist Dianne Flynn, four of which, including ‘Alice, Rachel and Sally’, are currently displayed in our Summer Exhibition.

Encapsulating the ideals and adventures of a rural childhood, Dianne’s playful use of antique costumes and picturesque landscapes imbues her work with a timeless quality.

A greatly missed artistic voice, Dianne’s idyllic worlds and their unspooling narratives have never failed to bring joy to all of us here at YFA. Enjoy her beautiful work now on the first floor of the gallery.
