How’s your entry coming along for the Jan Lewis Award?

This is your chance to show alongside PEG in our annual Fishslab Gallery exhibition in February 2025.

The theme is Room 101 and we are stitching about what really gets our fu***ng goat 🐐
Or trying to - slightly too much “inspiration” of late!!!

Just found this fab festive photo of Jan at one of our Xmas bashes - and she’s telling you to Get Stitching Bi***es!!!

Once again, here’s a recap…

1. Create a piece of embroidery no larger than 20 x 25cm about something that pi**es you off, that you'd like to chuck into Room 101, which is the theme for our next exhibition

2. Send a picture of your work, preferably taken in natural daylight in the best resolution you can, so we can bloody see it, and send it to [email protected]
NO LATER THAN 31st Dec 24.
Please include a few lines about what the piece means to you and your contact details.

3. PEG will shortlist 5 pieces, notifying the creators via email and announce it on our social media pages on Monday 13th January 2025

4. PEG will select a winner who will be notified via email and announced on social media on Monday 20th January 2025

5. The winner will need to send their
UNFRAMED piece to us by 31st January 2025.
The postal address will be provided directly to the winner via email.

6. PEG will frame the winning piece and hang it in our exhibition in Feb 2025. We will then contact the winner to arrange the return of the piece if not sold.

So get thinking and get stitching for this fab chance to exhibit with us in 2025

Jan Lewis was a PEG member. This award is going to be an annual event. This is the first one.
