Our next Toddler Crafts event with Art in mind is on Friday 11 Sep 2026 and the theme is Rainbows!

With a range of sensory and crafty activities, we guarantee you’ll have the best time! The best part? You get to take some of your crafty creations home with you to display and show off!

Discover our FREE temporary exhibition here at Weston Museum, with incredible art that brings science to life!

'Wow! Amazing Science in Children’s Books', invites visitors of all ages to explore amazing science through the vibrant lens of children’s literature illustrations.

There’s plenty to get hands on with during your visit:
• Build a skeleton puzzle created from artwork by Viola Wang
• Play a digital food science game inspired by Stefan Gates’ Science You Can Eat
• Browse a cosy book box filled with copies of the amazing books featured in the exhibition

We asked our Heritage and Community Officer, Jane Hill for some of her favourite items in Weston Museum.

One of the items she picked out was the Punch and Judy set of characters.

In this video Jane describes how lucky we are to have this set of puppets here. If you are interested in seeing the puppets for yourselves, Weston Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4pm and is FREE to enter.

Moonwell Movement and Weston Museum present three NEW weekly Tuesday yoga sessions, starting next Tuesday 8 September at Weston Museum.

10:30 - 11:30 Adult and Toddler session; Yoga for grown ups. Space for toddlers.
12:00 - 13:00 Open age slot.
13:30 - 14:30 Steady and Strong Yoga for over 50s

Cost:
£12.00 per person for one session. Those who book for a 6-week block will get a discounted price of £60.00 (basically a free session!). To book for a 6-week block, please call the Museum on 01934 621028 during opening hours.
