Back having a quick play with my pastels again today and learning from other pastel artists. First thing I learnt was my pastels are a mess! And I'm short of a few colours. This study was done on white pastelmat which I almost never use but I did an under painting, blending the darks with water and then applied the lights on top. I kind of like the result. But my rocks need work! 🤣

I've wanted to paint again for a while but was scared to try. What if I couldn't do it anymore? So today I sat down to play, just for me, not worrying how it turned out......although i don't like the results, I don't feel so scared now. I fact, i'm excited to do more.....I just need the time now 😊

Another lovely day at ArtisOn Masham , this time teaching my felted butterflies and moths for the first time. My wonderful students excelled themselves. We didn't quite finish but they went home with everything they needed to complete the project so I'm looking forward to photos ☺️

Allotment update....things are moving in the right direction. Most of the bark paths are in and a little patio has appeared in front of the sheds....that took me blumin ages! Been working on the flower and herb beds today. I'm splitting some plants in my garden and I've got hundreds of seedlings to go in plus i'm going to intersperse those with a sprinkling of wildflowers in the hope it'll stop any weeds from taking hold. Oh and Bjork loves her shed bed 🥰 #
