Opening today in the print studio East Quay, Watchet! Such a fantastic array of work, definitely worth a visit. Play the ‘which one is your favourite’ game, you might be there a while! 😀

‘Reach For The Stars’ multi block linocut print. Finished, dry and available for the first time this weekend in

The linocut print I wasn’t happy with? I’ve spent the whole week fiddling with it in between necessary life stuff. Sometimes my head just won’t let go of something and this is one of those times. I know I’m not alone in this but sometimes I wish there was an off switch!

Here’s where I am at now. The main plate has been worked into and I’m going to re carve the two background plates today (hopefully). Printing happens this weekend while I am in the studio opening it to the public, come and say hi if you find yourself in Watchet.

For the observant, yes I started carving one of the additional plates and yes, I carved out the wrong bit. I think I realised in time and can save it. This print has become my own personal nemesis 😂🙈

Delighted to hear that my reduction linocut print Lunar Light made it into the printmaking competition.
One of them will be with me again this weekend alongside a selection of my other prints plus if I’m very organised a couple might make it onto my website today (I’m holding one back for someone if you see this). A couple of them will be making their way over to in the near future. It’s a print on a mission to get out and about!
