From the natural beauty of the Camel Trail to the dramatic stone walls of Bodmin Jail — join us for a wonderfully different creative journey.

Led by experienced artist Lisa Cooper, this relaxed and inspiring Art Trail combines walking, observational sketching and watercolour, giving you the chance to slow down, look closer and capture Bodmin from a whole new perspective.

🏛️ Enjoy exclusive sketching time in the courtyard of award-winning Bodmin Jail

In this fun, hands-on session, participants will:

Join us for a 3-hour Willow Weaving Workshop with talented willow artist Jasmine Fassenfelt, where you'll learn how to weave your very own decorative bird house using sustainably grown willow.

🎨🏛️ Step Back in Time Through Art!

See Bodmin's historic heart in a whole new way on our Heritage Art Trails, where local history and creativity come together for a unique morning of discovery. There are now two dates available.

📅 Saturday 19th September
📅Saturday 3rd October
🕙 10:30am – 1:00pm

Led by experienced artist Karen Howse, you'll explore the historic Mount Folly area, including Mount Folly Square, Bodmin Town Museum and St Petroc's Church. Along the way, Karen will share fascinating stories about the area's rich heritage—dating back to the 5th century—providing inspiration for your own creative work.

During the trail you'll:
✏️ Sketch historic buildings and architectural details
🧱 Experiment with clay texture printing
🏛️ Discover the stories behind Bodmin's heritage
🎨 Enjoy expert guidance in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere while developing your own creative style

Suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced artists, with all materials provided.

Participants will also receive a pre-event information pack with the history of the Mount Folly area, helping to bring the trail to life before the day begins.

✨ Whether you're passionate about art, fascinated by local history, or simply looking for a different way to spend a Saturday morning, this is an experience not to be missed.

🎬✨ Looking for a fun and creative way to keep your children entertained this summer?

Why not let them discover 'The Magic of Stop Motion Animation' ! Designed for 10–15 year olds, this hands-on workshop gives young creators the chance to bring their ideas to life through the exciting world of animation.

Over the session, they'll:
🎥 Learn how stop motion films are made
🎨 Develop creativity and storytelling skills
🧩 Build problem-solving skills and patience
🌟 Create their own short animation to take pride in

The workshop is led by experienced, DBS-certified tutors Marisa Moore and Leon Toumi in a relaxed, supportive environment. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.
