The week off is going well-ish….

A fab afternoon in Penzance, with shopping, amusements and chips! My son is a whizz on the grabber game and won this cheeky fella!

Does anyone else with their own business have an issue with stopping everything when they have a break?

It IS the busiest time of year, which doesn’t help😂

I’m balancing it (typical Libran) by working in the morning then spending the rest of the day with the gang☺️❤️

Seafolk | Jewellery - Studio - Gallery is closed for a week, but the admin doesn’t stop!

The list is long but I’m chunking it and ‘eating the frog’ as much as I can….

Today is a shopping trip for more uni essentials plus some shortening of trousers🎉

I’m so excited to reveal my new business cards, ready for the events ahead…

I’ve chosen a close-up of my metalwork, capturing my love of embossing, texture and patination. Rich copper, deep blues and traces of light across the surface — there’s something a little magical about the colours that emerge as I work.

I wanted the cards to carry something of that feeling, and I’m so pleased with how they’ve come together.

Looking forward to seeing them in print, ready for Makers Cornwall Christmas Fair, 6–8 November, and the festive transformation of Seafolk Gallery, Par.🎄

Sarah Rickard is a phenomenal ceramic artist who has just had her world turned upside-down by a fire that has destroyed her studio, equipment and work- at the busiest and most financially rewarding time of year!!!
