The Harbour Gallery

The Harbour Gallery Mark David Hatwood FRSA took over The Harbour Gallery in 2012.
(1)

A multi award-winning Cornish gallery with an exceptional online presence where everything is available to purchase and view in superzoom including worldwide delivery and free virtual room hangs so you can try-before-you-buy. Having spent over 40 years in the music industry, first as a session drummer and member of Les Gray’s Mud, The New Seekers and Johnny Hates Jazz, he started writing music for

the likes of the Weather Girls and Culture Beat. After writing an award winning film and novel, Mark moved to Cornwall and immersed himself into selling fine art. Using all the marketing skills he’d learnt in his professional life, he increased the gallery’s turnover by 500% in just four years. In 2016 Mark launched the worlds first art resale website, ArtRehome and in 2018 a curated online gallery, BritishContemporary.art. Having written a series of articles about digital marketing and artist/gallery relationships for the UK’s most established art magazine The Artist, Mark released a book on the subject: The Artist’s Handbook, which went on to become a No.1 Amazon bestseller. Mark launched the second in the Contemporary.art group AmericanContemporary.art in 2021 and is already planning the next group launch in the autumn of this year.
