With the big kids going back to school over the next couple of weeks, it's time for the Tots to take over the museum again!

Join us for our first Tiverton Tots session of the Autumn, when it's time to do the laundry! Learn how to wash clothes the old fashioned way, enjoy messy play with our bubble wands, listen to a story, make some music or just have fun exploring and playing with our laundry toys and books – plenty to keep little ones busy, while you explore with them, and maybe even have a chance to chat with other grown ups too!

Perhaps a 'dull' photo to some, but I know this will get the nostalgia flowing for lots of you!

I know many of you have fond memories of the outdoor pool on Leat Street, but this was my 'old pool'. I can still remember it all vividly; the smell as you walked in, the little foyer area with the vending machine (mine was a Crunch bar if you're interested), and the reception area tucked in behind panelling... and then on into the changing rooms, and through the footbath as quickly as possible 🤢

Another great find amongst our recently scanned glass negatives. Sadly we don't know much about this one, so we're hoping you might be able to fill in the blanks for us.
We believe it was taken in 1974, but does anyone recognise the pub, or the lady behind the bar?

Sounds like the perfect time to head to the museum and join us for Crafty Tuesdays! This week you get to make an ice cream cone cup and ball toy, that will hopefully entertain them for hours!
