We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CC reg no 1188013). TAAG was formed to improve communication between artists and art organisations, and to help ensure that the arts in the Teignmouth area are properly represented. We have recently bought the TAAG building, which will be held in trust for the community. The building is closed for a period while access and repair work is completed, s

o that we can reopen later in the year. After reopening we plan to carry out further grant-aided refurbishment, on the upper floors. To contribute to our fundraising appeal please visit our web page: www.teignmoutharts.org

The TAAG Arts and Community Centre in Northumberland Place is used by 30+ organisations for art & craft, Teignvironment, carers workshops, Learning Recovery NHS workshops, multicultural festivals, Open Studios, recycled art, languages, book clubs, and lantern making. We show exhibitions by amateur & professional artists and are able to offer exhibition space at reasonable rates to support artists. Other rooms are also available to hire.

The old oil tank (from the days when TAAG was Swansons garage) being removed from the first floor earler this week. Another step towards getting new workshop facilities upstairs!
