The studio has been a hive of activity this week, there’s a newbie hiding behind my Bernina which I can’t reveal as it’s a publication piece (but it will be with me at shows) there are new ones awaiting the finishing touches.
I’ve just collected a card order from the printers, so I’m fully stocked. Gonna try squeeze a few more newbies in….. debating on floral or landscape. I don’t seem to to do many landscape lately but i feel a new Roseberry Topping is overdue! (That probs only makes sense to those local to me)

In the meantime, here’s a little throwback to when I had a play with watercolour! Hats off to watercolourists - I am defo a Textile Artist!!!!

I’ve a pile of felted pieces awaiting the finishing touches. I’m getting as many pieces felted as I can in my week off, so I can do the other bits on a night.
This piece is all laid out waiting to be felted later.

I seem to be stale mate on my followers lately, can I ask if you can press the 3 dots at the top of the page and share my page with your friends & family, see if we can increase a bit of traffic and reach. Thanks xx

Spent yesterday laying out a newbie (unfortunately one I can’t show for a while as it’s another publication piece. On the plus side you can watch the making of it and have a go)
If you’re coming to North East Wool Show though, I’ll have it with me!

I get asked about dying at some shows, and to be honest I don’t do a lot of it and I’m defo no expert, but there is something very satisfying about it when I do! Hopefully I’ll find a little more time to do a little more of it when I move more rural!! 🤔

5 new Mixed Media with clay houses to add to the inventory that I’ll bring to the North East Wool Show in August.

Gonna be a little quiet 🤐 whilst I finish off another magazine piece and then I will be releasing all the new pieces.

As explained in a previous post, I’m getting rid of the shop part of my website to half the ever expanding costs. If you click below you will notice the gallery pictures have prices on. If you’re interested in a piece just message me or use the contact me button and enquire about sizes, medium, frame etc…

I shall add lots more as I go.

I’ve had a few days off, but have spent most of it in the garden with family, however, I will have a new one to show you very soon! In the meantime, a reminder that this beauty is still available for the smoggiest amongst us!

What a glorious few days we’re having ☀️, and even better is I have a few days off to enjoy it, - so should get some bits completed too!!
In the meantime, I’ve made use of my fabric stash and made these hearts. Perfect little gifts to spray with your favourite scent and hang on doors, in wardrobes above beds etc… Expect some cheeky ones at the back if you’re coming to events. 😉
As an avid Boro fan, I spent a few hours yesterday knocking up a little outfit for my grandaughter to watch this afternoons big game!
My shirt is on and the ‘out of office’ is going on!
Come on Boro….. (sorry if I have any Southampton followers) x 🔴⚪️

Due to the massive increases in running a website, I have made the decision this year to close the webshop (e-commerce) side of my website.
The website is still there, just not the ability to purchase, or at least until I can research or have the tenacity to sort a new one. (I hate I.T) The majority of my sales come from my events, and as my work is very tactile, it is understandable that people like to see it close up. However, there are a good few sales through my website, but I’m not sure enough to warrant the cost of having it.
This year, I’m gonna just add items to the gallery part of the website (with prices on the images) - if your interested - just use the contact section to message me, (or via here if it’s your preferred method). Who knows - i might decide to return it, but this year I’m gonna see how this plan goes.

Thank you to all who HAVE purchased through the webshop, I’ll miss those dances when the notifications come through.
So if you see me at fairs - get it then - it likely won’t be on the website!! 💕

I had a few disappointed people at Spring into Wool last month as they missed their opportunity to purchase one of the new Murmuration pieces. Both had sold by the Saturday afternoon. So here we have, newly framed…..
