Today was an emotional day, and one that's been on my mind for months. So part of my quietness of late has been because of this being on the horizon....my wee man started P1! π₯Ήβ€οΈ
It's turned in to a great day, after tears this morning. We were both home for today, so we both got to do drop off and pick up. And pick up involved a happy smiley boy running out of the gate to tell us he'd really enjoyed his day and wanted to go back tomorrow! β€οΈ huge sigh of relief....
Also....we may have finally sorted the car shenanigans, but I'm not saying more than that for now, just incase. It's been a particularly stressful summer, and I'm glad we're headed into Autumn to be honest. I feel like I've dropped off completely the last couple of months, and missed so many markets and opportunities to be making money....which would have been really helpful to be honest. But my head has not allowed for so much, and I've needed to step back for my own health.
So....I'm not going to be at Torridon Thursday Craft Market tomorrow. Or, I will be for a visit, but not to trade π I haven't had a chance to make or do anything creative for nearly 3 weeks, and I need to find my way back to it. But after I've dropped the wee fella off at school, I'm going to pop in for a visit and some time with my friends. But without the stress of having to leave everything while I pick Connor up from school, and then take him back with me to pack up.
Sales have been abysmal the last couple of months, but I'm being practical about it, and refusing to make myself feel guilty. I can only do so much, and life and family needed to come first. I still have free shipping on my website though, so do go and have a browse. I will hopefully get back to things again as life settles.
This evening, here's a photo of my first hollyhock plant blooming in the evening sun π
