The large amount of history on view in the park has resulted in a museum dedicated to the Historic Roman heritage upon which St Albans has been built.

We have been informed by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) that two dead Canada Geese collected from Verulamium Park have tested positive for Avian Influenza (H5N1).

Acting on UKHSA advice, we have placed warning signs around the park urging visitors not to touch any sick or dead birds they may come across.

If you find a dead wild bird, do not touch it/them. Please report it directly to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) via:
