Did you know these striking sculptures were created by artist Brian Fell?

One of his first public art commissions was right here in Southport, where he designed the seafront railings and brought to life the town’s iconic seagulls, shrimps, and much-loved pier performers.

In partnership with Mons Memorial Museum, The Angels of Mons exhibition opens Saturday and explores the remarkable supernatural phenomena that is said to have occurred in 1914 during the Battle of Mons in Belgium

Also from Saturday in the Discovery Box, history research group 'The History Buddies' share an interesting selection of WW2 photographs from The Atkinson’s collection.

On Sunday, we’re proud to join Southport’s celebrations of Armed Forces Day and will be partially open for a fun day of discovery and remembrance.
