Send us an image of yourself if there’s none on your socials.
Typically you sit for 4 hours but get lots of breaks.
We will buy you lunch and keep you well looked after.
This year you will get to pick your favourite painting too.

Bit dramatic? Maybe… 🤣

But honestly, this event is one of the art highlights of the year. The atmosphere, the artists, the nerves, the laughs… we’ve missed it.

So here’s the good news…
The Southend Portrait Artist Competition is BACK for 2027.

And I mean properly back.

So get those brushes out. Start practising.
