🐾 Our October Guest Artist is the very wonderful Jola Spytkowska 🐾

We’re delighted to welcome ceramicist Jola Spytkowska back to the Shoreham Art Gallery this October.

Based in London, Jola creates wonderfully quirky ceramic creatures ……colourful, characterful and with a slightly eccentric charm that makes them very hard to resist!

Her work has been described as being inspired by urban junk, transforming the shapes, textures and oddities of everyday objects into fantastical animals and sculptural characters. There’s a wonderful sense of humour in her work, alongside an impressive knowledge of ceramics and making.

Jola has been creating her distinctive ceramic creatures for many years, and we’re very pleased to have her work with us again. If you’ve met one of her creatures before, you’ll know they have a personality all of their own…

Come and meet the latest residents of our gallery ….. we think you might fall for one. 🐔🐾🦉

Last weekend!

This is your last chance to see a selection of prints by our August guest artist, Karolyn Mnich, at Shoreham Art Gallery.

Karolyn’s work explores the character of Shoreham ❤️ from the town itself to its wildlife, river and all the activity that flows along the water and out towards the sea.

A lovely celebration of the place we call home, captured in Karolyn’s distinctive and atmospheric prints.

And we’re here for it. The Shoreham Art Gallery is open every day over the August Bank Holiday, so if you’re heading to lovely Shoreham-By-Sea, come in and have a wander.

Discover original paintings, prints, ceramics, jewellery and beautiful handmade pieces from our gallery artists and don’t miss our August guest artist, Karolyn Mnich.

There’s just one week left to see Karolyn’s wonderfully expressive lino prints, original paintings, cards and tea towels. A lovely opportunity to see her work all together before her August residency comes to an end.
