Meet Craig Peter Jackson who is artist-in-residence for two weeks. Today Craig welcomed visitors to the space during the Shepton Mallet Sunday Market and he shared a body of work. This week he continues to paint so be sure to stop by or take a peek through the windows. We're really pleased to see his striking, colourful work in two and three dimensions. Work is for sale!

From 14th - 19th April we're showing artist Sandra Porter's "Stations" in the gallery space. These respond to the stages of Jesus' last days and the journey towards Calvary. Open from 1-4 each afternoon. On Tuesday 15th and Saturday 19th at 2pm you can meet Sandra and hear about her inspiration as well as engage with the art pieces in a slow walk through, led by Gill Sakakini.

Sandra Porter is a highly experienced printmaker. Her abstract oil paintings and her beautiful prints are highly acclaimed.

Shepton Vignettes Exhibition at Create@ #8. Thank you for your Shepton Vignettes entries. There were 121 entries overall and the judges have now made their decisions. There will be a launch of the Vignettes exhibition from 6-7pm on Friday 14th February at Create, 8 Town Street Shepton Mallet, at which the judges awards will be announced. Refreshments will be available.
