Established in 1991, Cupola has grown to become one of the largest and most respected privately run contemporary galleries in the north of England. With four gallery spaces and an award-winning sculpture garden, Cupola represents local, national and international talent across many disciplines. The owner and founder Karen Sherwood has been listed on the Who's Who of galleries and dealers since 2002.

What a wonderful afternoon!
Cupola was filled with such a lively and cheerful atmosphere yesterday. Thank you so much to everyone who visited Cupola to celebrate our 35th year with us!
We hope you enjoyed the afternoon of conversation, art, food, and music as much as we did. We truly appreciate your support throughout our journey, and we look forward to continuing to walk together into the future.
A special thank you to everyone who helped make the celebration possible, and to all the wonderful musicians who filled the afternoon with beautiful music.

“It has been a rather bumpy ride but Cupola is still standing and this is my way of saying thank you to all who have contributed, championed, supported and been part of the story up to this point. It is my baby, but I couldn't have done it without the support of friends, family, artists, volunteers, staff and all my wonderful customers.
So, THANK YOU! “

As part of the celebrations we are delighted to welcome the Pan Jazz project for two sets at the party. We have hosted a number of musicians over the years and it is a delight to have them here to celebrate with us. I hope you enjoy the music.

Cupola is delighted to be working with Antler and Jean Juviniere Fine Wines for the party. This is a daytime event and all are welcome so there will be plenty of soft drinks available alongside some fine wine and some plated delights from Antler restaurant. The food will arrive around 4pm and remember the restaurant is only just a few feet further up the street from the gallery so you can always sample more delights by booking a meal later on.

New Poem
As the party is likely to spill out onto the street, we encourage you to check out our latest poem on the wall at the junction of Leppings lane and Middlewood Road by award winning poet Chris Jones. This replaces our earlier piece by Andrew Hodgson.

The poem is titled Life Class.
