Big skies, Wide spaces!

Come and learn a few watercolour techniques with Mags on Friday 4th September 5.30pm - 7.30pm at Saltburn Studios and Gallery, 30-32 Marske Rd , Saltburn TS12 1QG

You will learn how to create these wonderful big skies and have time to experiment with the paints.
Mags will provide all the art materials and tea, coffee and biscuits. (If you fancy a little tipple please feel free to bring your own🍸🥂)

Mags has a Painting Workshop in our Gallery, you can paint your own Roseberry Topping on Friday 21st August 5-8pm at Saltburn Studios and Gallery, 30-32 Marske Road, Saltburn TS12 1QG .These classes are suitable for beginners and anyone at the beginning of their artistic journey. Mags will guide you step by step through the process to create this amazing painting. All tuition and materials are included in the price of £25. You only have to bring yourself along and maybe a friend😉 and any alcoholic drinks if you wish to have a drink! Mags will provide tea, coffee, juice and biscuits. Meet Dennis Roddam
Art form: Wildlife, ceramics, paintings

Dennis Roddam is a wildlife artist working from a studio in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, and exhibiting widely across the UK.

Currently focusing on ceramics, Dennis uses handcrafted ceramic pieces as a 3D canvas. Other work includes 2D pieces in watercolour, acrylics and mixed media. Artwork available will include originals, limited-edition prints, cards and coasters.

Dennis’s awards and recognition include Birds Birds Birds Gallery (NEWA), David & Charles, Artist & Leisure Painter, BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year finalist, and a commission for presentation to Sir David Attenborough.

Having previously exhibited at Staithes Festival, Dennis is delighted to be taking part again.

Congratulations to our Studio Artists Helen, Alice, Glynis and Sara on their magnificent, magical Spirits in the Wild Exhibition which opens today. We had a peak at the Preview last night and can highly recommend a visit, the heather has begun blooming too, perfect for a trip over the Moors to Danby Moors Centre Inspired By Gallery.

Our Gallery here at Saltburn Studios is closed for a few weeks, we've got some art workshops and a new exhibition coming, we'll keep you updated.

Spirits in the Wild, an exhibition by our Studio Artists Helen, Alice, Glynis and Sara Previews tonight, Friday 31st July, 5pm - 7pm at Danby Moors Centre Inspired By Gallery. You're all invited.

Studio Artists, Helen, Alice, Glynis and Sara (who acronymically and affectionately call themselves The HAGS) have just delivered their artwork to Danby Moors Centre Inspired By Gallery for their new exhibition The Spirits in the Wild. The exhibition is an exploration of our rich local folklore, myths and legends, the Witch Hares, Mermaids, Hobs and Giants.
Helen Gaunt, Alice Grey, Glynis Johnson and Sara Henry, embark on an exploration through ceramic sculptures, illustrations, paintings and weaving and more!
You're all invited to their Preview Evening on Friday 31st July 5pm- 7pm
The exhibition opens on Saturday 1st August until Sunday 13th September.
