A customer bought in a set of Marvel stamps to be framed as a birthday present. The Marvel letters were cut out and float mounted onto the background. The stamps were encapsulated in a protective archival film and then float mounted onto the lettering.

This is a glass panel with a line-up of fun birds created by a customer. It needed to be displayed in such a way that you could see through the glass so float mounting was the obvious choice. The panel was carefully stuck to a sheet of anti-reflective water-white glass using a couple of small drops of UV setting glass glue carefully hidden under two of the darker coloured birds.

I'm really pleased to have a new window display showcasing some of the wonderful work of Katy Rundle. Katy is a very talented artist from Hampshire who sews colourful pieces of fabric together to create beautiful pictures. I have just framed 3 of her limited edition prints using double mounts and coloured aluminium frames.

I mounted this wonderful black and white photo of 3 girls having fun on the beach onto a torn piece of black board. It was then float mounted in a distressed white frame which looked like it had been found on the beach.

This is a very old map of Chelsea which came in 2 pieces and was also slightly buckled. After being mounted, a sheet of acrylic was placed onto the 2 pieces to keep it flat, a mount placed on top of the acrylic, and then anti-reflective glass on top of that. The frame is a very decorative wide green metal oxide moulding from LION Picture Framing Supplies Ltd
