Make a day of it in Amesbury; great local shops, St Mary and St Melor Church will be open dating back to 979AD and beautiful walks by the River Avon through Bonnymead Park.

Ancient Art of Indian Block Printing Workshop
Tuesday 9 June 10am - 1pm OR Saturday 13 June 10am – 1pm

These small, guided workshops are designed for beginners and those simply curious to explore this beautiful technique. You will be gently led through the process of printing using hand-carved wooden blocks, learning how to build pattern, layer colour and enjoy the rhythm of making by hand.

All materials are provided, and no previous experience is needed. The focus is on slowing down, experimenting freely and enjoying the creative process in a welcoming, supportive setting.

By the end of the session, you will have created two finished pieces to take home. (Think Tote Bag, Table runner, napkins, Apron, Make-up bag, Wall Hanging subject to availability) along with the confidence and inspiration to continue exploring block printing in your own time.
