We’re excited for this year’s St Ives September Festival — the annual celebration of arts and culture in St Ives. This year, we’ll be hosting events from our new space on Tregenna Place. With a series of art workshops, the return of our fun drop‑in portrait studio *Pictures of You*, and we will be taking part in the Open Studios.

We have moved and we Are Open! What a fabulous evening last night. Thanks to everyone who came along, and the warmth, goodwill and support. We were incredibly thankful for the generous help from friends who gave their time and energy in getting the space ready - stripping floors, painting walls, moving furniture... Thanks to everyone who helped on the evening to make this a wonderful event. St Ives is a very special community. The opening exhibition 'And Then The Artists Moved In is on until 26 September, with artists Zoe Eaton, Peter Giles, Helen L Ward, Lorna Robertson, Laurent Sykes, Graham Dilley, Ann Kelly, Pete Ward, Eliza Armstrong, Luca Angius Dhyano, Graham Pullen, Susi Guiterrez, Katie Lennon, Darcy Flint & Jordan Lawrence Jackson.

Last Open Drawing group of the season was held today St. Ives Arts Club - with the group caught in reflection of the theatre room piano! Thanks to Sue Marshall for the photo. We will miss teaching in this beautiful space! The Monday Drawing group will return in the Autumn, in our new space on Tregenna Place!

We are moving! To much larger premises on the 1st Floor of the beautiful Former Post Office building on Tregenna Place. We will be sorry to leave our current space on Westcotts Quay, with amazing sea views - but excited to embark on the next chapter of Barnoon Arts. For now we are busy getting the new space ready - removing carpets, stripping floors, painting walls, cleaning.... Here's a little sneak preview of some of the rooms .... Watch this space!
