Early Years Week is almost here! 🌈

From Tuesday 1st - Friday 4th September, join us for a series of exciting workshops and activities designed specifically for children under 5.

🔍️ Dino Story and Play (1st - 3rd September)
This fun and interactive session combines storytelling, imagination, and free play. Little ones will be transported to a prehistoric world through an engaging dinosaur story, encouraging them to use their imagination and become part of the adventure.

After the story, children can enjoy free play, giving them the chance to let their imaginations run wild, make new discoveries, and have plenty of prehistoric fun at their own pace.

🦖 Steelosaurus Storytime (4th September)
Join local author and illustrator Helen Hunt for a fun-filled Steelosaurus book reading, followed by an interactive Q&A and creative activities.

🚀 Under 5s STEM Play
Come and enjoy our soft play and STEM learning area specifically made for those visiting with younger children. We have lots of activities to help your little one learn through play, including sensory exploration and logical thinking activities.

Our storytime sessions can be booked for a small additional fee, but don't forget that you'll need a general admission or annual pass ticket to go with them! 🎟️

All good things have to come to an end, but that won't stop us making the most of our last Ferocious Friday.

It's almost time to say goodbye... 🥲

Our pals at RentaDinosaur will be joining us one last time for their pre-historic takeover of our attraction. Their formidable T-Rex will be back to stomp his way through live shows and meet-and-greets, so why not join us to say goodbye after a dino-mite summer?

Just a note for our visitors: in the morning, our SEND Splash Sessions are set to go ahead, so Aqua-Tek will be temporarily closed until 12:30, when it will fully reopen to the rest of our visitors. 🌈💦

The team at Magna were deeply saddened to hear the passing of Dolly Parton last night.

Alongside her iconic music, Dolly was a known philanthropist who had a special link to the Rotherham area. In 2007, she launched the Imagination Library in the UK following its success in the USA- a scheme that made sure pre-school children in the area received a free book, every month.

Dolly is pictured below singing at the launch event, which took place right here at Magna.

May she rest in peace and continue to live through her legacy. 🧡

We're starting to feel really excited for Under 5s Week here at Magna, taking place from 1st-4th September.

We have a series of workshops lined up especially designed for your tiny tots, embracing hands-on play and sensory experiences. On Friday 4th September, Helen will be joining us with her special Steelosaurus Storytime, and she tells you a little more about it in this video.
