👉 We're now accepting your art submissions for Exhibition 3. It's not a competition! All art forms are welcome! Paintings, pen sketches, digital art, collages, floral arrangements, poems, photographs, sculptures, dance poses - you just need to be able to take a photograph of it to upload to the project.

Calling all you painters, doodlers, collagers, flower arrangers, photographers and tinkerers. We are seeking new artwork to display in our next public exhibition!

The theme is 'DOOR' and ALL CREATIVE FORMS ARE WELCOME, you just need to be able to take a photograph of it to upload to the project. You have until this Sunday (11th) to send us a pic of your creation. It could be a painting, a collage, a written piece, a photograph. Hey, if you wanted to draw on a banana and take a photo of it, do it!

Creativity takes many forms and we want to see what you can conjure up in response to our latest theme, DOOR. Create your artwork, send it to us online, and we'll do the rest. Artworks will be displayed with pride on our public wall in the Rochdale Exchange mall. It doesn't matter how old you are, what experience you have, or where you come from. Artwork can be submitted anonymously, or you can include your name, alias, or social media handle - it's up to you. The purpose of this project is to celebrate local creativity and give everyone a platform to display their artwork in public.

The first Rochdale Art Wall exhibition is up! 🤩

Thank you to everyone who uploaded their art in response to our first theme ☀️ SUMMER ☀️ and thank you also to everyone who has shared word about the project.

Rochdale Art Wall hopes to spread positivity through creativity across the borough and beyond, so however you've contributed so far, kudos to you!

Exhibition 01 is on display from today (Friday 26th August) until Friday 16th September in the mall at the Rochdale Exchange so be sure to drop by to see what our first group of artists have produced for you👏

If you've got any snaps of your sandy creations, we'd love to see them in the first Rochdale Art Wall exhibition - the theme is Summer, after all.

We’re already receiving artwork to display in our first exhibition on our lovely shutter in the Rochdale Exchange. All forms of art are accepted, you just need to be able to take a photograph of it. We can't wait to see what you create. Happy making!

Hello! We are Rochdale Art Wall 👋 A free public art project that exhibits artwork created by everyone and anyone!

It doesn’t matter how old you are or what experience you have. Independent artists, students, secret sketchers, messy crafters, budding photographers. Left handed, right handed, no handed. Big art, tiny art, 3D art, edible art. Whatever your style, however you let your creativity flourish, we want to see it. Rochdale Art Wall is a celebration of how creativity can dazzle, decorate and delight even the most simplest of spaces. Our wall in the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre used to be a plain old shutter, but with your help, we can make it into a beautiful gallery that sparks curiosity and smiles!

Get involved by creating a piece of art inspired by the exhibition theme. Discover the current theme, and upload a photograph of your work to us at www.rochdaleartwall.com. Priority will be given to Rochdale residents, but applications are welcome from anywhere on Planet Earth. It’s free to enter and it’s not a competition. We can’t wait to see what you create!
