Welcome Back, Anne Nolan! A Fresh Perspective on Photography
We’re thrilled to welcome photographer Anne Nolan back, bringing an entirely new approach to this event! Anne has a keen eye for patterns and shapes in her surroundings, capturing intricate details and textures that often transform the familiar into the extraordinary. Her photographs invite viewers to take a moment to unravel the subject, revealing a form of found art within everyday objects.
Recently, Anne has been experimenting with Affinity software, applying captivating mirroring and twirling effects that alter her images in unexpected ways. For the upcoming ‘Order and Chaos’ exhibition at St. Luke’s, she will showcase a stunning series of prints that blend disorderly elements—like fallen leaves and river weeds—with these innovative techniques, revealing harmonious patterns amidst the chaos.
Anne’s work challenges our perception, introducing artificial patterns that create delightful surprises and a slightly unsettling sense of order. Don’t miss the chance to experience her fascinating creations!
