A3 PICTURE FRAMES
A while ago many high street shops stopped stocking A3 size picture frames but recently I've noticed that A3 frames are now available in B&M and Home Bargains.
This should make the framing of the triple image prints an easier, and cheaper, exercise!!

Postal Charges

The UK postal charge has been the same since 2021 but due to continual rises in postal costs it is unfortunately having to be increase to £4.50 from the 7th April.

The European postal charge is being kept the same but the charge to the rest of the World is also having to rise.

Working as a volunteer with Southern Locomotives Ltd., at Sellindge Kent, has meant working on parts I have illustrated and also those hidden between the frames, such as the middle section of 34058 Sir Frederick Pile’s weighshaft that I recently cleaned up before applying a protective coat of Rustoleum. 35022 Holland America Line

Advance orders for the print of SR/BR Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class No. 35022 Holland America Line are now being taken. Order your print by 24:00 on the 30th October 2024 and you will be entered into the draw for the first signed and numbered print (1/100).

Holland America Line N.V. is still active in the cruise market, making it an ideal subject for anyone who has enjoyed a cruise on one of their ships and has an interest in steam locomotives.

This Limited Edition 16” x 8” print has a run of only 100. It fits a standard size panoramic frame which are readily available online.

The print will be released on 31st October 2024.

303 Squadron Naming

34053 Sir Keith Park has been renamed 303 Squadron at the Spa Valley Railway for a year to honour the Polish men and women who served with the RAF and WAAF during the Second World War. The event was attended by many Polish associations, military personnel and dignitaries.

I was delighted to produced the artwork for the crest and nameplate. Prints of the locomotive as 303 Squadron have been produced for Southern Locomotives Ltd (to raise money for further restorations). Presentations of the Limited Edition version being made to dignitaries on the day.

Price Increase From 4th April 2024

The last time prices were increase was in July 2015 (excluding postage) and as everyone knows the cost of everything has risen considerably in recent times and because of this the price of most prints is reluctantly being increased as shown below.

Large-scale Limited Edition Prints:– New Price: £34.50

16" x 8" Limited Edition Prints:– Unchanged: £22.50

Footballer Limited Edition Prints:– New Price: £22.50

Triple Prints:– Signed: Unchanged: £22.50, Unsigned: New Price: £19.50,
Signed with mount: New Price: £27.50

Nameplate Prints:– Signed: New Price: £19.50, Unsigned: New Price: £17.50

The UK postage will remain the same but there will be a rise in the overseas charge.

As the increase will not take place until Thursday 4th April, after Easter, there is time to get prints at the present price!

GWR Castle Class No. 4079 Pendennis Castle

The print of GWR Castle Class No. 4079 Pendennis Castle in the condition it took part in trials on the LNER, against their larger pacifics, in 1925 is now available to purchase.

The Great Western Society (Didcot Railway Centre) asked if they could sell the print at the special event when No. 4079 Pendennis Castle was returned to traffic to which I readily agreed and produced it for them. Because of this the initial 40 signed and numbered prints have already been sold and I'm now releasing the remaining prints for sale.

Battle of Britain Class No. 34069 Hawkinge Locomotive Print

A print of No. 34069 Hawkinge is now available (https://www.locos-in-profile.co.uk/Prints/Multi-image/Class_Nameplates/SR_BoB_Hawkinge.html). This print also includes all the Battle of Britain class nameplates plus illustrations of Flying Officer Peter Malam Brothers' Hurricane (32 Squadron) and Sergeant Ronald Fairfax Hamlyn's Spitfire (610 Squadron), both of which used Hawkinge airfield during the Battle of Britain.

A copy of the print was presented to the Kent Battle of Britain Museum Trust at Hawkinge in conjunction with Southern Locomotives Limited presenting the Trust with a full size replica of the nameplate carried by Hawkinge. This was cast from a pattern which was made using artwork produced by myself.

The print size is 404 mm x 303 mm which fits a readily available 16 inch x 12 inch frame. The print is available signed for £18.50 or unsigned £15.00.

Advance orders for the print of Rebuilt West Country Class No. 34100 Appledore in the condition it worked the last steam hauled Golden Arrow on 11th June 1961 are now being taken.
