It's quite a while since I've painted a Marine Miniature, been concentrating on my African Wildlife with 5 Mother and Baby miniatures, 4 African bird miniatures. 1 cows in Poole Harbour and 3 pet commissions.
This on is of a sunrise over Goathorn Point in Poole Harbour, it was fun painting it but a challenge to get the moody colours right.

Our exciting International Miniatures Exhibition is just a month away, and we are very excited with the range of beautiful work we have for display, and sale.
The city of Wells is very suited for our miniatures exhibition as it's the smallest city in England. Our exhibition will be in the main ballroom in the Town Hall, which is situated in the main Square by the magnificent Wells Catherdral. I will be one of the tutors on the Saturday at the Mminiatures Painting Workshop, and demonstrating on Tuesday 11th June. I will also be stewarding on the Wednesday 12th and it would be great if you wanted to pop by and say hello, I would be very happy to show you around the exhibition and answer any questions you may have.
If you wanted to stay over then the Wookie Hole Hotel is just outside the city, and very resonably priced, along with other hotels.
I really hope you can make it up to Wells and see all our beautiful miniature works of art.

This is the other Black Rhino, and the 5th recent miniature from Edward Selfe Photo Safaris Images that he has kindly allowed me to use as a reference. The range of my African Wildlife pritns are growing and are there for you all to purchase in the knowledge that the profits go to Conservation South Luangwa's cahrity to help African Wildlife. Indeed the Black Rhino is trying to get back to sensible numbers from the endangered species thanks to CSL's efforts.

I don't know what it is about sharling cats but I just love Painting them. Not easy to get hold of the reference but this one came from Steve Seagul another African Wild life Photographer that works with Edward Selfe in Zambia. I'm very grateful to Steve for the use of this and other photos for my Wildlife protrait range of miniatures that go into print to raise money for the African Wildlife and habitat in the Luangwa Valley National Park in Zambia.
This one, along with two others have been accepted for the Hilliard Society's Exhibition in June in the beautiful City of Wells in Somerset.
