The Dory Bistro & Gallery is an award-winning and busy seafood restaurant serving lunch and dinner on Wednesday – Sunday each week. We utilise the freshest local seafood, game and produce in our contemporary menu and incorporate produce grown in our own kitchen garden which helps us to focus on using seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs; we source produce and products from East Neuk suppliers where possible. Our gallery hosts the work of well-known artists whose paintings set the scene for the restaurant.
We are looking to recruit for our Front of House team with someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about food, wine and delivering high levels of service to our guests.
Ideally, the post will be filled by a full-time employee working about 37 hours per week on a salaried contract. We will also consider appointing someone on a part-time contract (minimum 20 hours per week).
Duties include waiting tables, bar tending, supervising junior staff and working with an EPOS system. We are looking for people with experience working in hospitality but training will be provided. You will join an experienced team working within a positive and supportive working environment.
