THE FRENCH ARE LANDING AGAIN! This time in the form of the Vhelio Trophy Cycle event which will be arriving in Pevensey on May 15th round lunchtime. But what's a Vhelio - What is Vhélio?
Vhélio is an open-source solar-powered vehicle designed to transport several people. It is accessible and easy to assemble, conceived as a kit vehicle. The socially conscious Vhélio project offers a mobility solution that addresses the challenges of inclusive transportation.
They will be arriving after crossing the channel and passing Battle Abbey.
Expect 15 Vhelios and 120 cyclists plus all their support - pulling into the car park !!! Its hoped this is a precursor to a much larger event next year 'The year of the Normans' to mark the 1000th anniversary of Williams birth.
