Postcard of the Day: The parade ground, Queen's Barracks, Perth. The image was registered in 1939. The barracks were first established as a home for cavalry regiments in 1793. It became the home to the 2nd Dragoon Guards (Queen's Bays), hence the name Queen's Barracks.

View of the Theatre Royal, Perth on the corner of Atholl Street and Kinnoull Street. Built by subscription, the theatre opened on August 28th, 1820. This view shows the Theatre decorated for the Coronation of George V in 1911.

An undated aerial view of Loch Leven Castle. The tower house was built in the 1300s, where at one time, Mary Queen of Scots was once a guest, then a prisoner, before escaping, never to see Scotland again.
