Next Thursday as part of our whole host of events (all included with site entry) taking place over October half term Primrose and Petal Early Learning Resources will be hosting a spooky craft drop in session on site. It's never too early to talk about Christmas right? ๐Ÿ˜…
We are very excited to be hosting our first Christmas Craft Fayre! We will have over 40 different stall holders with us on the day supplying everything from bespoke furniture to jewellery to body care, and so much more! Entry to the Craft Fayre and site buildings will be FREE with hourly tours of the Mill and Underground available on the day for an additional charge. Count House Cafe, Geevor Tin Mine will be providing their excellent festive food and drink! So make sure you come along and support all the brilliant traders, creatives, artists, and crafters while also supporting us as an independent charity!

Throwing it back 5 YEARS to when our shaking table was recovered and given a freshen-up by Holman Wilfley Ltd, alongside our fantastic staff and volunteers. ๐Ÿ™Œ

For many visitors, the shaking table demonstration is the centrepiece of our Mill tours and you can see it in action!

Our Mill tours are now running on the hour from 10am โ€“ 4pm. ๐Ÿ•™

We are delighted to be hosting a multimedia interactive installation feat. voices of West Penwith by sound artist Natalia Mamcarczyk (Immersive Arts). Kow - in Cornish 'cavity' or 'hollow' is a multimedia spatial installation exploring the social, cultural, and natural wealth of the most southwestern distant land of the UK.

Featuring voices across generations, cultures, native backgrounds, religions, and industries, it traces the transition of the place through the closure of the mines, and the impact on lives so closely connected to their land: miners, fishermen, musicians & dancers, community & arts workers, spiritual practitioners, pub crews, as well as geologists and Cornish heritage specialists.
