Another Gold for Woodcrest Kitchen's Marmalade!

Our Seville Orange Marmalade has been awarded the coveted Gold for 2025 (the third gold for this particular flavour!). This year we also received two silver awards and one bronze - that's an award for every flavour submitted for judging.

We're honoured and thrilled to receive further recognition from The Dalemain World Marmalade Awards & Festival - not least because the majority of Gold winners this year were from the Far East.

2025 is a special year for the Marmalade Awards since it is celebrating its 20th year of awarding excellence. During this anniversary year we're proud to be demonstrating continued high standards in artisanal marmalade when being judged against small businesses on a world stage.

Despite the global scale of the Marmalade Awards competition, the vast majority of Woodcrest Kitchen customers are local; beginning in our home village of Burnopfield and stretching across the North East region. As always, all our preserves are hand prepared and homemade; and every jar is made with lots of love from my kitchen to yours! If you'd like a jar, just send a message to order or visit one of our retailers.

Thank you to customers, stockists, friends, family, and social media followers for your continued support! We're looking forward to visiting Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens again at the end of April to collect these latest awards!

🌿 Garden Days at Dalemain- Monday 17th March 🌿

The brighter mornings and nights are here, alongside a sprinkle of sunshine, and a beautiful arrangement of colour from our winter/early spring flowers. We are very much looking forward to our first Garden Day of 2025, which will be here in just under two weeks! 🌼
