CCc field ( High Grounds). The run will be departing at 10am coming through Penrith around 12 / 12.30pm and back to the field around 1pm. Please show your support along the way🚛🚚🚗🛵🚜

Whether you’d like to create your own art to keep, or festive creations to share, a warm welcome awaits 🤗

£85 per person fully inclusive of friendly tuition in a small group, quality materials,
use of Edna; our antique star wheel printing press.
Oh… and a truly scrumptious three course lunch and refreshments throughout the day, including freshly griddled Welsh cakes on arrival…

No experience needed and the techniques learned here can easily be adapted for printing at home.

Another fab workshop this weekend with some lovely people trying their hand at drypoint printing here at Brightside Barn.

Always a pleasure to share our unique studio space. No matter the rain outside… we were toasty warm, well fed, and had amazing views of the Pennines right outside the front door.

One week to our next printmaking workshop here at Brightside Barn. Learn about this traditional printing technique using our antique printing press, Edna. In our Drypoint print workshop you'll have the chance to choose from a variety of plates, including perspex, aluminium and even Tetrapak packaging. Create your own original art, eat scrumptious food, and have a fab relaxed day. Guaranteed 🙌

Just look at these examples of amazing creativity from the lovely people who joined us on this weekend’s Lino print workshop, here at Brightside Barn.

It was a pleasure to share our studio with everyone, and help them use Edna to produce a collection of beautiful hand pulled prints 🤗

Despite the wind and rain we had a warm fire and some scrumptious home made food.

And when the weather cleared we were treated to a stunning rainbow over the Pennines, right outside the front door 🌈

It’s a wrap! 🙌 🎬

We’ve had a fabulous couple of weeks here at Brightside Barn, taking part in the Open Studios and Art Trail.
It’s been wonderful to meet so many lovely people, welcome them into our unique creative space, and share some great stories 😍

The Art Trail may be over for this year, but we are still open as usual - if our sandwich board is out, we’re in!

Walkers, cyclists and runners are always welcome to call in for free water and a chat too 🤗
