Today we have been celebrating 100 years of the extraordinary Sir David Attenborough β a voice that didnβt just narrate our planet, but helped the world fall in love with it.
Itβs hard to put into words just how much one person has changed the way the world sees nature, conservation, and our responsibility to protect this planet. So many of us grew up hearing your voice and learning to care a little more deeply about the oceans, wildlife, and the world around us because of you.
The ripple effect of Blue Planet alone has been incredible - a catalyst for genuinely changing habits, conversations, policies, and perspectives across the globe. So many of us working in conservation today are living proof of this impact.
Thank you, Sir David, for opening our eyes to both the beauty and fragility of this planet, and for showing us how to fight for it
Wishing you the most shell-ebrated 100th birthday imaginable π¦β¨
