Did you know that 78% of low-paid workers say better pay would improve their health?

Uncomfortable Oxford is accredited by the Living Wage Foundation, whose latest research explores existing evidence of good work practices having positive health outcomes, and what low-paid workers most want from their employers.

The findings show that being paid the real Living Wage is the top priority, alongside our Living Hours and Living Pension accreditations.

We are committed to not only supporting our employees, but also shining a light through our own critical history work on workers' rights as human rights.

We are delighted to be hosting a special Uncomfortable Oxford tour in support of Refugee Week and SolidariTee!

πŸ“† 15th June @ 18:00-19:30
πŸ“Meeting Point: .oxford – 36 High Street, Oxford OX1 4AN
🎟 Tickets can be booked according to your ability to donate, starting at £5

All proceeds go to support their partners, who offer legal and psychological aid and defend human rights on Europe’s borders. Border violence is intimately linked to the power structures of empire, race, and class, which have also shaped the rich history of the city of Oxford.

If you can't attend, there is still the opportunity to give an invaluable donation.

Your Impact:

Β£10 is enough to cover rent for an NGO office space for a day.
Β£40 (two supporter tickets) can fund a legal empowerment session inside a refugee camp.

Tickets are available via the link in our bio πŸ”—
