Hello, I am looking for ANY information regarding my grandfather and his plane. B-24H-10-FO 42-52182 "Rumplestilskin" Sgt. Jack A. Klinedinst He was stationed @ Old Buck and flew March 15, 1944 to August 7, 1944. I do NOT have a date on the 1st image (would love to know when it's from), however the other group shot is from 4/19/44, the same day they flew a mission to Paderborn, Germany (so could be BEFORE or after??) Any info is helpful!
What is the best time to visit the museum etc; i'll be in Norfolk for a week in June. Also, is there much to see at Tibenham?
Looking forward to visiting this summer with family members of Dewey Dey Steele. Thanks to the Old Buck community for this tribute to the crews of the 453rd.
Are you open this Sunday ? 6th Aug ?
James and Andrew took time with me and my son, Andrew Foster, to share the history and momentos and many documents about Old Buckenham, where my father in law was stationed during WWII. We left with a new appreciation for this time in history. Thanks again.
I am hoping to visit this museum in a couple of weeks. Is it active? I have emailed with no response and really would prefer not to make a long road trip if I can't see the museum. Please advise...
