The Chapel Gallery at the Framework Knitters Museum is an exciting new exhibition space. Regular exhibitions will feature artworks from our partners, the Nottingham Society of Artists as well as special presentations.

Do you enjoy a bit of wartime nostalgia? Then you'll love our WWII-themed event, Swing Back to the 1940s, on Bank Holiday Monday from 11am to 4pm!

There'll be swing dancing in the Chapel, hairdressers to recreate those authentic wartime hairstyles, a street party, stalls selling vintage collectibles and much more. You can even enjoy a pint of our very own real ale, Frame Breaker, in a vintage dimpled pint pot!

Best of all, the event is FREE to attend! Come along for a fun day out for all the family, whatever the weather.

Great news – we’ve raised £713 through the Co-op Local Community Fund so far! Big thanks to all the local Co-op members who have chosen to support our Key Stage 1 and 2 education project - you're adding to our total every time you buy selected Co-op brand products.

We’ve still got 6 weeks to spread the word and get more members to back our cause. Co-op members who haven’t yet chosen a cause in our local community have built up £3,739 – and the more members that choose the museum, the larger our share will be of the final total.

So if you know of anyone who shops in our local Co-op, please ask them to choose the museum as their cause if they haven't already!

The museum reopens this Wednesday 1 February at 11am after our winter break. Please note that our admission prices have changed to include a Gift Aid element for UK taxpayers - in return, you get free admission to the museum for the next 12 months, plus your very own vintage Clocking In card to log your visits!

Just 3 days to go until our Christmas Stocking-Making event on Saturday 3 December! The event runs from 12 noon to 6pm and it costs just £5 for kids to have their very own stocking knitted on one of our historic Griswold knitting machines. They can then decorate it themselves, choosing from an array of festive materials.

The Frame Breakers Ruddington

NEW BEER ALERT!

To celebrate the incredible 45th anniversary of the fantastic Framework Knitters Museum, we will be launching a brand new Nottingham Brewery ale at next Monday's garden party, cunningly dubbed 'Frame Breaker'!

A traditional, tawny-coloured Englsih bitter coming in at a sessionable 3.8% ABV, this is very much the type of beer the framework knitters would have quaffed back in the days when beer was safer to drink than water!

You'll also find 'Frame Breaker' on the bar here at The Frame Breakers Ruddington this weekend, as well as at our sister pubs Plough Inn Radford and The Ned Ludd.

With 20p from every pint sold going to support the Museum's redevelopment and expansion appeal, you can even feel charitable as you sup!

Fan of real ale? You'll love our very own 45th anniversary celebration beer, brewed by our friends at Nottingham Brewery. We're launching the beer - dubbed Frame Breaker - at our Garden Party on Monday 29 August where free samples will be on offer, so come and give it a try!
