Saudi Training Flight
On the 15 Feb 1968, four RSAF T55 Lightnings arrived from Warton. These aircraft were operated within 3 Sqn of 226 OCU, which became responsible for training Saudi pilots, with the aim of the initial batch becoming the instructors back in Saudi Arabia. They stayed until the middle of 1969, with the first pair leaving in July, and them all being back in Saudi by the end of August.
The photos are from the Coltishall archive, from BAC promotional photos and unknown photographers.
