⚓️ Harbouring the Moment, Annalong Harbour ⚓️

🩵 This is the latest painting from my new collection, with the next release coming on 19th July 2026! 📅

🌊 This piece captures the stunning view across Annalong Harbour, with Slieve Binnian casting its presence in the distance. In the foreground, the fishing boats, the backbone of this community, rest quietly in the harbour as light dances across the ripples of the shallow water 🩵

✨ I can’t wait to exhibit this painting with .art at the Crumlin Road Gaol from 1 - 9 August 2026 📅 Everyone is very welcome to come along, see my artwork in person and support all of the talented artists exhibiting over the weekend 🤍

Atter a short break from social media, I am happy to share that I have a new range of artworks that I will be releasing over the coming weeks!!! 🎨

🏆 Before that, I’m so happy to share that I have been selected as the winner of the Brendan Harron Award, awarded by the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation. I am delighted that my painting ‘Meanders at Murlough’ has been selected as the award recipient and will now hang in the HQ offices of INTO! 🏆

Here are some lovely photos from the event at which I received my award, the Annual Vere Foster Lecture, hosted by St Mary’s University College, Belfast.

What a joy this commission was to create 💛
This little harbour holds so many memories for my client, her partner and their family; such a privilege to paint a place that means so much. Wishing them all the happiness this view carries ♥️

I adored bringing this scene to life…
🌿 Bright poppies softening the foreground
⛰️ Faraway cliffs fading into the evening glow
🌅 A signature Gallagher skyline in purples + pinks
Calm. Nostalgic. A little dreamlike. Everything I love about coastal painting.
