Whistlefish

Whistlefish 10 Greetings Cards for £12
Designed with love and considerately made in the UK
They're little pieces of art for those big on giving.

For over 25 years, Whistlefish has been
connecting busy, caring people to friends, family
and places, with earth-friendly, unique cards,
gifts and art. A passionate artist, Lyn Thompson founded
Whistlefish in 1997, opening our first shop in St
Ives, stocked with her hand painted designs. She is still heading up the business today,
ensuring the beauty, care and a little bit of
sparkle is woven into

every design our in-studio
artists create. Green Matters is at the heart of everything we
do. From design and creation, to distribution
and post-purchase longevity, every day we
continue to work creatively to reduce our
impact on the environment. Because we produce in Cornwall, we can control
our production line and create small batch,
delivering lovely prints at even lovelier prices. We support British (and favourably Cornish)
whenever we can. This ensures product
miles are minimised, while at the same
time supporting British Industry – with the
employment and community benefits it brings.

After all the love for our Hannah Cole dog competition, it felt like the perfect time to share a little more of Hannah’s wonderfully colourful world.

Seaside cafés, coastal characters and plenty of dogs, all brought to life on our collection of Hannah Cole notebooks. ❤️

Which one’s your favourite?

This is where the artwork begins its journey from painting to card.

Once the original artwork is complete, it’s time to head to the presses. Colour, detail and every brushstroke are carefully reproduced as the design finally makes its way onto paper.

Chapter 3 takes us behind the scenes of the printing process, as the original artwork starts to become a Whistlefish card.

🐾 CALLING ALL DOGS! 🐾

Ever looked at your dog and thought, you belong in a work of art? Well, now they could be.

To celebrate International Dog Day, we’ve teamed up with the wonderful Hannah Cole to find one very special dog to become the star of her next painting.

The winning pup will be painted by Hannah in her beautiful signature style, and their human will receive the original artwork, beautifully framed.

But it doesn’t stop there…

We’ll turn the painting into its very own Whistlefish collection, and the winner will receive the collection.

Want it to be your dog?

Find beauty in the little things. 🦋🌼

The first flower of spring. A walk in the sunshine. A card from someone you love. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that brighten our day.

Send this to someone who makes your world a little more beautiful. 💌

Nature’s colour palette 🎨

Artist Hen spent the day at Enys Gardens, gathering inspiration straight from the landscape, from the softest greens to unexpected pops of colour hidden amongst the flowers.

A little reminder that sometimes the best colour combinations are the ones nature has already created.

Which colour would make it onto your palette?

The team at Whistlefish are loving these Polarbox cool boxes ☀️

A little bit retro, a lot of fun and available in some seriously good colours. Perfect for filling with cold drinks and picnic favourites before heading to the beach, the park or wherever the sunshine takes you.

Definitely one of our favourite summer finds.
